We had the U of MN International Adoption Clinic review Dana's medical records from Colombia, and everything looks good. On Monday we are going to officially accept the referral. We should know more details about our travel next week. Stay tuned!

Welcome to our new blog.
We received our referral at 3:30 p.m. on April 24th and are so excited to welcome Dana into our family.
We are keeping Dana's given name as a tribute to her birthmother, and we love it. Dana means "bright as day", and Valentina means "strong".
We will keep you up to date on the progress of our travel, and what is happening as often as we can.
Thank you for all of your prayers, and support over the last couple of years on our journey to adopt again. God has blessed our family once again with a beautiful child.

Congratulations! She is beautiful. The name Dana is also neat because of her Grandpa Dan's name. Valentina is BEAUTIFUL. You guys are so fortunate. This will be a wonderful experience and I can hardly wait to hear more about her and your trip. I will look forward to meeting her-if not before-at Aunt Amy's wedding next spring.
